The Marcher Lords

Work:: The Marcher Lords (S0101354740)

Production:: (T058588899)

Fly Theatre Company is delighted to introduce The Marcher Lords - a brand new comedy group, kicking off the Festive Season in a frolicsome fashion... Comedians Rebecca Hamway, Anton Tweedale and Alex Outhwaite will be reluctantly torn from making their Blue Peter advent crowns to present a tasty-delicious selection box of new sketches, songs, stand up at the Canal Café Theatre on December 3. Premature Christmas references practically guaranteed! The cast previously appeared in a series of comedy nights hosted by Hamway’s alter-ego, the Infamous, Posthumous Dame Hecate Bamway, who died tragically and dramatically in a Victorian skiing incident. The beloved Dame returns with more anachronistic anecdotes in this new show, which also features a suspiciously familiar cupcake-loving Yummy Mummy and an epic Large Hadron Collider-based finale. As well as Dame Hecate’s series of comedy nights, Fly Theatre recently presented a site-specific production of Mike Bartlett’s Contractions as well as the UK premieres of the musicals Reefer Madness! and Clouds.
