Details

Highly revered antipodean stand-up comic Kitty Flanagan is making the Edinburgh Festival Fringe completely her own this year, with her authentic, unique, prime-time show, A Festival of Me, performing at the Pleasance Dome throughout August. A Festival of Me is Kitty’s mission to bring a real ‘show’ to Edinburgh. A show that features hard-laugh stand-up comedy; a darkly comic short film, ‘Dating Ray Fenwick’ plus a rousing, Live Aid-type anthem that urges young women to stop dressing like hookers and put their underpants back on. This is a show that entertains from start to finish and one that should see Flanagan as a frontrunner for the prestigious but non existent award of Best Comedy Allrounder.
