An Evening with the Humour of Bob Newhart and Tom Lehrer archivePeter Gill and Andrew Meller present a fabulous show dedicated to the satirical humour of American comic legends Bob Newhart and Tom Lehrer. Originating from the 1950s and 1960s, audiences will once again be rolling around with laughter as they are reminded of Newhart's Driving Instructor, Introducing Tobacco to Civilisation and USS Codfish; and Lehrer's sharp witted songs Poisoning Pigeons in the Park, I Got it from Agnes and The Masochism Tango. This is a wonderfully entertaining and light-hearted evening of wit suitable for all of those with at least a modicum of a sense of humour. Running time 110 mins (inc. interval)
