Superfan - Nosedive

Superfan

Work:: Superfan (S01648386899)

Production:: Nosedive (T1806825578)

A contemporary circus show exploring hope and destruction as one generation after another reaches higher, sees further, and hurtles towards a future they can't control. Directed by Ellie Dubois and Pete Lannon of Scotland-based SUPERFAN, Nosedive uses contemporary theatre and circus to artfully breakdown and reorder the natural relationship between adults and children. Dubois recently won a Herald Angel Award for her sold-out Edinburgh Fringe piece No Show. Pushing themselves to the limit and dancing with wild abandon, hold your breath as the feats and leaps at the heart of Nosedive grow ever bolder and more impressive. Questioning when the fearlessness of youth transforms into the need to protect, the highly-skilled performers tackle how cooperation, trust and security change as we grow up.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
