The distinctive artistic chaos of St. Petersburg's cult absurdist theatre group, Akhe, makes it unique in the world of visual theatre. Sometimes quite literally exploding on stage, its shows are in a constant state of flux. Following its success with White Cabin at LIMF 2004, Akhe returns with more bizarre props and hand-made scenography, and another kaleidoscope of curious happenings and fantastic images, this time inspired by Prosper Merimee's Carmen, with its themes of love and jealousy.
