Ineza is a Rwandan-born Belgian Jazz singer, based in London. She is a graduate of both Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and Maastricht Conservatoire in The Netherlands. Ineza was one of only eight artists to be awarded a place at the second edition of artist development program LEAP organized by international music producers Serious.T01865869629Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Betty Carter and Abbey Lincoln weren't just great jazz vocalists - they were also songwriters, who contributed some great works to the canon. In Women's Words, Sisters Stories, vocalist Ineza and the Alex Webb Trio explore the repertoire penned by the great female songstresses - Billie's Don't Explain, Peggy's It's a Good Day, Abbey's Throw it Away and many more, including poet Fran Landesman's classic lyric Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most. And bringing it up to date are songs by Jazzmeia Horn, Cecile Mclorin Salvant and Rachelle Ferrell.
