Miss Belle Canto invites you to take a peep through her magical opera glasses and join her on a journey through opera's greatest stories of passion and betrayal. With the help of her fabulous troupe of divas and deceivers, will our heroine make a choice between true love and duplicity, or accept that life really can be as complicated as an opera plot? Produced and written by Loretta Hopkins and Paul Vialard with original dialogue by Tim Knapman (Trestle Theatre Company, I Fagiolini), Belle Canto's Opera Hour is directed by David Monteith (Scarlet Opera), with musical direction by Alex Silverman (Globe Theatre, Eurobeat) and production design by Nina Dunn (Royal Opera House, Sunday in the Park with George, Rocky Horror Show with Richard O'Brien). There is an adult theme but no nudity, swearing or explicit language.
