"My work is essentially concerned with memory, and its relationship to the present. Objects and images are reconstructed in diary and autobiographical form, representing traces of the past. My studio practice involves mixed media; wax, paint photography, lettering and objects. I believe these mixed media paintings resemble archaeological sites where you can see traces of old forgotten events or things that the mind cannot quite recall."
