Originally for Co. Armagh, Noelle has lived and worked in Fermanagh since 1983. Her first solo exhibition, 'Waterways of the Mind', took place in the Studio in 1991. 'Out of the Blue' ranges from large oil paintings and smaller abstract mixed media pieces. The exhibition is inspired by the visual imagery created by water and by the emotive power of colour. Although blue is predominant, splashes of other bold colours excite and stimulate the eye and then let it rest. Pure blue, pure cobalt evening skies and waterways dance on the canvas in a truly musical, lyrical and metamorphic way.
