A verse comedy about a disasterous attempt to rekindle an old love affair may not sound like everyone's cup of tea but this is a clever and endearing piece with much to commend it. Played with just two chairs but an every changing projected and animated backdrop, the piece is easy on the ear, funny and poignant. We are really drawn into this story and the lives of the characters. I heard a few in the audience before the show go "oh, you know this is in verse right" - it is, but you quickly forget that as the writing and delivery have such a light touch. As excellent, if gentle, hour for the middle of the day.
