Breakfast Menu 2 (of 3) comes with all the usual trimmings; coffee, huge croissant and strawberry. These really are a superb way to start your day at the festival - if you can get a ticket, they do tend to sell out!
This menu was five short plays in the hour slot.
You Choose: A quick improv sketch with the audience choosing from 3 options at each stage to get their story .... great fun
Don't Push the Red Button: Literally that, a red button with a guard and a girl who has a burning desire to push it. This is a lovely little piece that could even survive development into a one-act. Funny, and clever.
Let's Get Physical; a doctor's surgery and an annual pilot's medical ... all going so well until the new practitioner turns out to be going out with the pilot ... great tists, funny lines, well delivered
Somewhere Between the Sky and the Sea; funny and poignant, makes you think, but not too hard. "The men and the women in teh audience are now thinking differently, and both end with 'bastard'".
Metal Musik; Comedy sketch or Kraftwerk documentary?!
This very talented group deliver punchy, funny, well acted comedy, all are versatile and utterly committed to what they do but Javier Rasero's stage presence was the real stand out thing that I shall tke away from the show.
