Silence! The Musical

This is billed as "The Unauthorise Parody of The Silence of the Lambs" and it really does do what it says on the tin - with splashes of 'show that goes wrong' thrown in for good measure. Plenty of lambs on stage (so cute!) and the plot sticks close to the film, not that that matters too much here! There are some excellent songs with clever lyrics not for the easily offended and the cast sing with gusto and not a small amount of real talent. The dancing is great and the set very versatile and clever but it felt just a tad too long for me - perhaps that was the lateness of the hour but perhaps parody can be i=over stretched, None the less, an entertaining show from a talented cast.
