Legally Blonde on tour

OMIGOD you guys ... here's a show to lift your mood!

I never meant to see the film, ' not my thing', but when I did I loved it .. I couldn't erxplain why but somehow it worked. After seeing the musical on stage I think I have an inkliong why .... lurking under this very pink show, which repeatedly pushes all the fluffy buttons, including cute dogs on stage and cheerleaders, is a good, strong, story - actually I could easily imagine the story itself on stage as a serious play (cutting the cute) selling out at The Donmar. And that is how I like my theatre, with a bit of a mix of emotions thrown in.

Add to that a great cast, really good production and some hugely entertaining parts (UPS will never seem the same again!) and I was hooked. This had me laughing out loud in many parts yet welling up in others. It was, in fact, so good that the audience stopped talking so that they could enjoy it!

This is a bit of a daft night out but is hugely enjoyable and, if you let it, it will make you think too! I loved it!
