The story is a powerful one but not one, I felt, well served by this script. The first third was slow and didn't really draw us in, in part, despite some excellentt acting, because the trope of meeting death for a final look back over your life is a rather well worn one. At times it seemed almost a monologue with teh occasional "what happened then" or "what did that make you feel", leading questions indeed but ones that do not make the text flow well for an audience.
Fortunately I felt that the show picked up in the middle and ended quite powerfully so for those who stuck it out it was worth it and the audience was genuinely moved - helped in no small part by the excellent video snippets played into the action from time to time. An interesting look at a truly evil man.
