Lovefool

An incredibly powerful one-woman show from Gintare Parulyte is given a masterful performance by Kirstin Winters. A moving tale of rape and abuse and the therapy that the main character goes through to try and find a route back to normality. Interspersed with film, particularly some early sex education nonsense, this piece is a hard, uncomfortable watch. A quick show of hands from the audience about topics that had affectedthem, or their friends, showed that the threads discussed touched many people directly. Excellent.
