Lash

Sonny wants to tell about nights out on the lash. Escaping work and his older colleagues he lives for drink and drugs. Until one session changes things. It's a superb performance. Sonny has so much energy, we have to go with him. The play is part rhymed, poetic and philosophical. Quite a mix for a wasted youth. I'm not sure what using the mic added - he didn't lack volume, so I guess just a focus and prop to play with. It was set up as a speech in a club, but didn't need it. The performance was all, and this is some impressive work.
