Miss Hope Springs brings her music, anecdotes and life story to the Fringe - and what a pleasure it was to spen an hour in her company. Bad, but comfortingly familiar, jokes were interspersed between the songs which ranged in style. I found Welcome to the Carnival to be a very moving piece that brought a real humanity to the character and her story but the other songs were cleverly comedic. A truly pleasant way to spend an evening.
