A brilliant one-man show based on the author's grandfather's experience in World War II and the PTSD that blighted his remaining life. Engagingly told with some archival footage and a lot of small details that really took us into the life of this soldier and his war experiences. Included is a short, rather depressing, history of how long it took for shell shock and subsequently PTSD to be recognised. How di we expect generations of men to go to war and then simply return to a normal life with £64 and a new suit? Fascinating, sad and engaging play written and performed by Richard Clements.
