The successful West End show Ghost The Musical has recently announced that Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans will take on the lead roles from 13 January 2012 at the Piccadilly Theatre.
Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans will play Molly and Sam in the production. They will be taking over from Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman who originated the roles when the production opened in June.
Dillon first entered the world of musical theatre as a contestant on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s television reality show ‘How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?’. She went on to make her West End debut as Sandy in ‘Grease’ back in 2007. Since then, Dillon has starred as Vivienne in ‘Legally Blonde The Musical’ at the Savoy Theatre in London and is currently starring in new musical ‘Ex’ at the Soho theatre.
Mark Evan’s stage credits include parts in the UK production of ‘High School Musical’, UK tour productions of ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ and ‘Oklahoma!’. Evan’s screen appearances include ‘Dead Hungry’ and ‘Lake Placid 3’. The Welsh actor has been playing the role of Fiyero in the smash hit show ‘Wicked’ since February.
The musical, based on the Oscar winning film starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, follows the story of Sam who, after being killed, must somehow find a way to contact his distraught girlfriend Molly in order to save her from meeting the same tragic end.
The show is currently booking until 13 October 2012
