Simply, it's hilarious. Remarkable writing which has a gag or laugh line every time they open their mouths. In 1945, instead of a boat out of Sicily to America, Don Lambrini boards a cruise to Blackpool. And takes over the North. There are sight gags, puns, film references and general silliness. Nothing is sacred, thank goodness. Sorry if you come from Barnsley. The three actors land every line and play with the situation shamelessly. The only problem is that you might miss something under all the laughter.
