Kelly Brook, famous for getting sacked from Big Breakfast and wearing something short of a dress at a film premiere, is rehearsing for the part of a table dancer in
Eye Contact, a new play by
Neil Monaghan opening at
Riverside Studios later this month. The premise of the play is to ‘lay bare the growing phenomenon in London of table dancing clubs. The author will tread that fine line between a serious examination of the motivations of the dancers and the paying customers and straightforward exploitation of the subject matter and Ms Brook to sell tickets. One can always claim that this is simply life imitating art.
