Omnibus, Clapham's new multi-function arts centre, is to lose its Artistic Director before it opens. Gene David Kirk, after discussion with the trustees, is to step down due to an ongoing health problem that requires him to take an extended rest. Having overseen the conversion of the building from an Old Libvrary to an exciting multi-use space, Gene will step down and the current General Manager, Juliette Stark will take over and see it therough the gala opening later this month.
Meanwhile, on Broadway, there will be a temporary change in cast for The Two Character Play, directed by Gene, which continues its acclaimed run till the end of this month - Rob Sedgwick and Elize Russell will take over from Brad Dourif and Amanda Plummer due to a death in Dorif's family.
