Three different "menus" of shows each containing 6 or 7 playlets and served up with coffee (or tea), the largest croissant you'll see all week and fresh Scottish strawberries - what's not to like!
We attend these every year, they are a great way tto start your day (10:30, Pleasance Dome) and get you in the mood. The short plays don't all work for all members of the audience but that's fine - there'll be another along shortly. Mostly comic, some serious, all with a twist and a slightly skewed view of life these are cleverly put together and well presented pieces. Slick, easy to watch and entertaining - be prepared to laugh and think!
This year, I particularly enjoyed the rebranding of war (menu 1), marching soldiers (menu 2) and social media sketch (menu 3) but there were no duds. Go, enjoy, start your day!
