This show messes with your moral compass. But as Joyce Cohen warns early on, these are unreliable narrators. Set in Miracle Village, an American community for sex offenders, we learn of their interaction with the locals. Initially the religious people seem like the villains and we sympathise with the ex-offenders. Are we wrong? Who is being honest?
With songs scattered through, this talented company continues to make us question. John Carlin is striking and Amy Gaither-Hayes is memorable amongst a strong cast.
They end exhorting us “just to say everything in just one minute“. Profound and confusing.
