Christopher Sainton-Clark is author, producer and actor in this production. I wish I'd liked it more. His storytelling and movement were good, but his Irish accent annoyed me. It was such a relief when he played the other characters without accent. And the almost incessant rhyming began to grate. It's a neat little story, a man is struck by a curse which means he only appears for one day then disappears at the stroke of midnight. His life progresses one day at a time, whilst the world moves on a whole year for each of his days. His crime echoes down the years for his successors, but he only reappears for that single day. For me, elements of the play and performance reduced my enjoyment.
