Ade Morris' farce is loosely based on Aristophanes' Lysistrata. The women of Clodly are having difficulty with their promiscuous, spendthrift and warlike men. In response they mount a play wherein the characters go on sex strike until the men mend their ways, are kind to their women, and let peace reign.
