Chelmsford Theatre Workshop
CTW has a tradition for innovative theatre and is one of the area's most adventurous and ambitious amateur dramatic groups. We have been bold enough to look for diversity in our production and our seasons have contained work from the likes of Shakespeare to Shaffer and Berkoff to Beckett. Formed in 1969, CTW is an independent, amateur company which aims to present new, interesting and challenging plays, as well as provide practical experience and education in all aspects of drama.

Theatre Workshop NW
Since 1993 Theatre Workshop have been presenting History workshops and plays in primary schools. The plays are always related to the National Curriculum, on historical or social (e.g. Anti-Bullying) themes. We have also published a series of History plays, through KEY CURRICULUM, for use in primary schools, during Literacy hour or Drama lessons etc.
