We are an amateur opera society, performing in the Bromley area of London. We aim to put on a show every two years at least, fully staged and costumed, and with full orchestra. Our next show (17-20/10/01 and 2 & 3/11/01) will be Bizet's Carmen, for which we will be auditioning on 20/4/01 (contact Julie Hyland on 020 8467 6632 for further details). We make a point of performing in the style and period in which the opera was originally set. We are always happy to welcome new members. The annual subscription is only £10, and those wishing to perform must also pass a simple audition.
