Derby Gilbert and Sullivan Society: Derby Gilbert & Sullivan Company are the winners of the 1997 International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival for their 1997 production of Princess Ida which they took to Philadelphia, USA in July 1997. A very friendly comapany of many members will this year be performing The Pirates of Penzance both at the Derby Playhouse between 5th - 9th May and also defending their title in the 199 International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival.
