Playing games is an essential part of everyday life. It is no surprise therefore that many game players and designers should so enthusiastically embrace the computer. Throughout June Watershed becomes a games platform - from big screen computer gaming to Hop Scotch, Press Play <> is the opportunity to enjoy a game or two, attend one of the accompanying events and sign up for the Venue Magazine PacMac Championship. This month of games activity will culminate in Game Cultures, an international conference which explores the place of the computer game in contemporary culture.
