Constructed over the course of a week, this workshop based drama project will build on ideas from the students of New College Leicester. This is another Phoenix Arts collaborative project, this time working in conjunction with Hathi Productions and The Education Action Zone. Inspired by the Keith Waterhouse classic Billy Liar, the quintessential dreamer, this is the story of Charlie and the fantasy world she's created for herself. Living in the reality of Leicester, she chooses to escape by losing herself in a better place - her imagination.
