Arthur Smith is one of comedy's elder statesmen and a club compere since the early days of the alternative comedy scene. A regular on BBC Radio 2 and 4, he is one of TV‘s Grumpy Old Men and is a frequent guest on such shows as Excess Baggage and Loose Ends. His autobiography My Name is Daphne Fairfax was recently featured on Radio 4’s Book of the Week. Steve Nallon was involved in the groundbreaking satirical comedy series Spitting Image creating the character voices for Margaret Thatcher, Sir David Attenborough, Alan Bennett, The Queen Mum, Bruce Forsyth and many more. Award-winning ventriloquist Nina Conti and her alter ego 'Monkey' have wowed theatre and festival audiences from Edinburgh to Melbourne - prepare to be shocked! A previous winner of the BBC New Comedy Awards, Nina regularly headlines at London comedy venues including The Comedy Store. In 2008 Nina won the Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Barb Jungr's passionate singing and extraordinary song styling has its roots in northern soul, opera and jazz. She has received rave reviews internationally, two New York awards (2008 Nightlife Award for Outstanding Cabaret Vocalist and Best International Artist 2003 Backstage Award) and critics compare her to Nina Simone and Peggy Lee.
