Celia writes children's books, mainly about Anglesey-based cats. She also wrote World War 2 biography on which Tenko was partly based. She has broadcast on BBC Radio Wales, and on a television series with her husband, Ian Skidmore, worked in publishing in London and on the Daily Mail in London and Manchester, and is a regular feature writer for the Daily Post.
