The Spoken Word has been creeping its way back into the collective consciousness as a contemporary poetic artform over recent years and is being given a helping hand in North Wales by regional artists, culture mag producers and event organisers, TheAbsurd. TheAbsurd are showcasing some of the most dynamic poets and lyricists from across the UK. Malaysian born, London based, Francesca Beard represents contemporary British literature across the world through her work with the British Arts Council.
