Jackie Kay grew up in Glasgow. She has written all her life. Several of her adult poetry collections have won or been shortlisted for awards across the board. Her first novel Trumpet won the Author's Club First Novel Award and the Guardian Fiction Prize. Red Dust Road won the Scottish Book of the Year award and was picked as a World Book Night title. Jackie Kay is one of our best-loved poets and her books enrich the lives of all who adopt them. Stratford Circus is delighted that she will here to read from her long awaited autobiography, Red Dust Road, in conversation with fellow poet, writer and broadcaster, Michael Rosen.
