Yes My Fuehrer archiveStrong anti-war piece about a woman who relives her experiences during the Hitler war years and answers the question, why did so many women follow him? At the Berlin premiere in May 1993 , the Frankfurter Rundschau said "Yes My Fuehrer' is the story of a domestic victim who also becomes a willing victim of national socialist slogans and thus a fellow traveller. What is so thought provoking about the play is that whe cannot be judged in black and white. It is a story of a woman who runs after ideologies, not because she is interested in their content, but because she is looking for a purpose and wants to belong"
