Wonderful Tennessee archiveSet on the Donegal coast, Wonderful Tennessee chronicles contemporary Ireland as experienced by six friends. As part of a birthday celebration, the three couples arrive at a pier from which they hope to travel to an island just visible off shore. As the night wears on, petty rivalries, private yearnings and human frailties are exposed. But with the arrival of dawn comes a totally unexpected chance of redemption. The characters sing and dance to live accordion music, reliving their childhood reminiscences.
