An African interpretation of Euripides' Trojan Women . Nigeria: 1821. The once great city of Owu lies in Ashes. Against a backdrop of death and horror, a vanquished queen rages against her brutal conquerors, while the beautiful enchantress Iyunlolye plays a dangerous game with her estranged husband, the commander of the triumphant forces.
