Where's Your Mama Gone? archiveSet in 1970s Leeds, twins Carol and Stephen Connor lose their mother to serial killer Paul Sutton. Growing up in care, they must come to terms with their loss of love, stability and heritage and, as adults, discover how they may triumph over the adversity of lost childhood. As Stephen confronts his past demons and explores how best the world can learn from his family's story, Carol struggles to face the future as a single mother with history threatening to repeat itself. Can brother, sister and media join forces to shed light on those issues faced by an evolving society with the same question of nature and nurture at its heart? And what of their mother's murderer and his own motives and misfortunes?
