Details
The workers of a London factory occupy the building in a bid to save their jobs and stall the threatened closure by the factory's owners, but their struggle to save their livelihoods is complicated by the presence of an East European dissident Czech ex-Communist Josef Frank, still deeply traumatised by his experiences of Stalinism...
Weapons of Happiness was the first play to be performed at the Lyttelton Theatre space at the National Theatre in 1976 and won the Evening Standard Best Play award.
