Vicar Joe, who was first introduced through Read's highly popular plays, Toshack or Me! and To Hull and Back, is still up to his old tricks. Will Mr. Phelps and the church council allow pop music in the church; how will they respond to his desire to see more and more street homeless using the church premises to sleep? There is, of course, still the little matter of him spending more time at the Liberty stadium watching The Swans than he does in the parish. A comedy show for all the family.
