Details
The OTWC is a group of eight exhilarating playwrights, selected by the theatre to spend a year developing their crafts. They meet throughout the season to share techniques, opinions and obsessions. In Uprising, these playwrights examine the cultural baggage that makes them who they are: A son confronts his estranged birth mother Colleagues break into song - A family talk about football (so they don't have to talk about the other thing) ...and other stories. The Orange Tree Writers Collective respond to Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' An Octoroon
