Michael Blyth narrates, David Attenborough style, leading us through a day in the life of Warren, our everyman. A human zoo of ageing studs, drunks, geezers and predatory girlfriends is laid bare in his disturbingly familiar habitat - the pub. By looking the archetypes of the male character, and how they interact, passing by way of gambling machines, pub theme nights, urinals and inebriation,
Two Man Rumble provides a glimpse of what truly makes up a male homo erectus sapiens. The play climaxes, as every stereotypically macho night must, with the fight to end all fights. With kebab in hand and protrusive foreheads to the fore, our hero battles with the Alpha male of the pub to a surprisingly insightful conclusion.
