Brian Woolland's taut and poetic play,
This Flesh is Mine, brings together Homer's Troy and the Middle East of today: worlds shaken by cycles of violence and revenge, by ambition and self-interest masquerading as idealism; worlds struggling towards any possibility of reconciliation. With a six-strong cast made up of three Palestinian and three British actors, the production leads the audience through Battersea's evocative Testbed1: a venue that will also host films, food stalls, fine art and performances as part of a Middle Eastern pop-up festival for all the senses. It's all happening over just one week so ink the dates in your diary now; this event is not one to miss!
