Evening falls. Eight friends sit moping together in a dingy bar. As the night draws on, each takes their turn to explain how the harsh realities of human relationships have driven them to the bottle - complaining about commitment-phobia, blubbing about breakup, intimating infidelities, and splurging about their sex lives. These Things Happen, a new stage work for singers and orchestra, is your invitation to eavesdrop on a frank, open and thoroughly entertaining evening of musical sorrow-drowning. Don't expect jazz hands, love songs or happy endings. Do expect to laugh. And laugh hard. This production contains frequent bad language and sexual references, and is not suitable for under-16s.
