The Wild At Heart archiveUsually performed separately, the three plays are about women of various ages, all of whom struggle against the restrictions of conformity in various ways. It is Williams at his best, drawing out the vulnerability of the desperately delicate, either enduring or submitting to that which threatens to break them, voicing a world he understood so well. 'A prayer for the wild at heart kept in cages.' To allow the audience to further emerge themselves within this world of Tennessee, the plays will be accompanied by a live band formed by six brilliant musicians, playing jazz and blues as well as a themed bar, serving southern drinks throughout the evening. It is a three in one event, with theatre, live music and dance brought to you by young artists at a beautiful new venue on the rise.
