When Italy entered World War Two, Italians living in Britain were branded by the authorities as enemy aliens. This play follows the story of Lina, who witnesses her father being arrested and taken to an internment camp in Canada. His ship was mistaken for a troop ship and attacked by a German U-boat, with many innocent Welsh-Italian men losing their lives. Interwoven into the story of these true events is Lina's own quest for the truth behind her father's disappearance.
