Details
In Sean O'Casey's vibrant and poignant classic comedy, Donal Davoren wrestles with his poetry as he struggles to find peace in a crowded Dublin tenement. Outside, Ireland descends into a vicious guerrilla war. Donal's neighbours believe he is a gunman on the run. Local girl Minnie Powell takes a romantic shine to him which encourages Donal to play along. However, when the city is placed under curfew, his fantasy starts to feel uncomfortably real.
