Sam lives a quiet hermit like existence with his wife Lizette. Stuck in a loveless marriage they grind through life barely speaking. Sam hiding from the world and Lizette looking for a way back in. Then it all changes with a knock on the door... Royston and Ronnie are touring the country in a campervan. Loud and gregarious they are Sam's worst nightmare, and when a thunderstorm, a breakdown and a far-reaching family tree bring them to Sam's doorstep these two couples lives will never be the same again. A bittersweet comedy for young lovers, old romantics and all the cynics in between.
