The Scenes[s]: A Mini-Season of Extended Scratch - The Wrath of Josie Steggies/Invisible String archiveLondon is blessed with a rich New Writing culture. There is an expanse of talent out there producing new work, and just as much audience keen to watch it. Get Over It Productions is committed to finding and nurturing the future of London theatre. Having established their West London based scratch night The Scene, as a reliable source of fresh writing, acting and directing talent, GOI offers a platform for those creatives to extend their short works into hour long shows at The Playground. The Scenes: A Mini-Season of Extended Scratch, is three nights of double bills... The Wrath of Josie Steggies - Josie, a shy cat owner who works in a Cardiff bookshop, often feels invisible. But after being shoved to the ground by a massive bouncer, outside a city-centre nightclub, she decides to turn her invisibility into a weapon. This is a black comic, one woman show about revenge. Invisible String - A woman struggles to come to terms with the aftermath of a violent burglary and her family's conflicting reactions to it, but then circumstances force her onto an unexpected path. Invisible String is the story of what binds us together in the most unlikely situations, exploring our fragility, mortality and compassion. The Scenes[s]: A Mini-Season of Extended Scratch website.
